Bust.

This first week has really been a bust. With looks at least. Yesterday I made "almond mini-meringue cupcakes"......Now I've made meringue before and it was amazing. The only thing this recipe had in common with the real stuff is egg whites. The lack of meringue-ness makes me want to mix up a batch of the real stuff right now. I probably wouldn't be so bothered by this recipe if they had just left out the "meringue" part because they were pretty good. Meringue, meringue, meringue. Okay here it is.

They taste like something you would have for breakfast. I bet they would have been amazing if I had added some craisins. Mmm.
