Worst blogger ever.

Soooo....I'm totally not going to be able to finish my book by the end of the year.....Sorry to disappoint you Steven.  I do have a few things that I somehow missed putting on here!

This is a birthday cake (duh) for my mother from all the way back in November!!

No, she didn't turn 92, we just took them off my sisters cake and flipped them.  The cake was three layers.  Bottom-brownie, Middle-raw cookie dough, Top-funfetti cake mix. Because I'm awesome.

It's been so long with these that I don't even remember what they are called.  I remember they were very rich though.  I'm getting cavities just looking at them.

I do plan on making cupcakes again soon! (I know....I say that every time...)  I've got the book out though!  Looking is more than just talking about it right?!

Oh hi.

Yeah, so it took me a few more days to actually bake something but I am getting the pictures up the next day! That doesn't happen often.  Life has just been SO busy with, oh you know, awesome things.  But that's not what this blog is about.  This blog is about baking!! Yayayayay!

So...I made apple cranberry crumble cupcakes, which has been a mouthful everytime I say it. 

I don't know if it's my phone or just bad lighting in the kitchen but all my stuff comes out looking very yellow.  I'm going to start making my sister drive all the way from Houston to take pictures because she knows what she is doing.

Anyways, back to the cupcakes. Incredible.  Really could have used more apple but practice makes perfect! (Didn't help that the husband was stealing bites as he was cutting.) So Steven, if you want one you will probably have to come over today because I don't think they will survive the night!

Yeah...I'm still alive

Someone has informed me that I haven't updated in a while and my one year anniversary has passed.  Which means I only have one more year to finish this cookbook. (Thanks Steven)

Guess I should get back into the swing of things.  I've made a few goodies, some have been photographed and some not...but we won't worry about those because they weren't even in the cookbook!

I know I've said this before..but I will try my hardest to make something this weekend!
